Simple Golf Swing DVD Will Transform Your Game
January 30, 2007
Doesn’t a simple golf swing sound nice? I mean…no “62-point” checklist. No negative thoughts before every swing. Just a simple, repeatable golf swing with more power and consistency.
If I asked 100 20 handicap golfers the above question, I’m pretty sure all 100 of them would agree…but why is the golf swing so complicated then? Why do we make it so hard on ourselves? If you’ve ever played baseball, did you do this when you were hitting the baseball? I mean…thinking of every position your body should be in before you make your swing to try to hit the ball? I don’t think so. Well golf should be the same way!
I have come across a serious of golf instruction dvds at the Pure Point Simple Golf Swing site that are the most effective at simplifying your golf swing. This dvd is a fundamentals type of video. To improve your golf swing, you don’t need rocket science, or the latest-greatest swing technique gadget or tip.
Once you learn the fundamentals, golf get easy! You’ll no longer walk off the course frustrated at your performance. You’ll be hitting the ball farther and straighter and shooting scores your foursome will be in awe at!
My Personal Recommendation
The Pure Point Simple Golf Swing DVD is a must if you want to simplify your golf swing and play your best golf this year!
Short Game Golf Schools Are Worth The Money
January 26, 2007
Imagine how many strokes you could shave off your score with a better short game? It is so critical to golf improvement that entire golf schools are built around it.
The most well known school is by Dave Pelz. Mr. Pelz is the world famous short game and putting guru, who works with some of the top touring pros. He has made a science out of the short game and can bring it to you in one of his specialized, short game schools.
There are many topics covered in a school like this. For example, wedges, pitching, chipping, putting and bunker play. How many strokes do you think you give up in these areas? Maybe 3,4 or a half dozen? I would say the average 15-20 handicapper would give up 2-3 strokes just on putting alone. Probably another 1-2 from chipping. Maybe 1 eacch on pitching and bunker play.
Add up those strokes and you’ve got an easy 6 strokes that could be eliminated from a short game lesson or ‘full on’ short game golf school instruction. These golf schools are not cheap, but you are also paying for the name with Dave Pelz. Some other short game schools are Bird Golf Academy and the Jim McLean golf school to name a few.
Breaking down the short game into manageable sections like bunker, chipping, pitching and putting, allows you to retain it better and be able to take it home with you. And remember…you will be exposed to tips and secrets you never knew before, giving you the edge over your playing partners when you get on the course to play.

Here’s A Golf Swing Tip To Hit More Fairways
January 25, 2007
I used to be a golf tip junkie. I mean…read every magazine the day it came out; bought every golf video; and would listen to anyone who had a golf swing tip I thought I could use. The end result was too much going on in my little brain to make a simple golf swing.
Now…having paid my dues and playing to a single digit handicap, I can attest to realizing that there are a few golden nuggets out there that can really help your game, and there are a ton of worthless ones that can kill your game.
Here’s a simple swing tip I use on every shot that gets me focused on where I want the ball to go. That’s not to say it always goes there, but I try my best. This tip, is actually a preshot routine tip, more than it is an actual golf swing tip.
Here goes!
Before EVERY shot I get behind the ball and look at my target, or if it’s my tee shot, I look at where in the fairway I want the ball to go. Then I let my eyes follow all the way back to where I am standing, where I find a weed in the grass or something that is about 2 feet in front of the ball.
I am lining up my eyesite to know without a doubt my set up is parallel to the target line I want. So after I get that weed, or dead piece of grass, I stay focused on it until and now walk to the side of the ball and get lined up, parallel to that line I’ve made with my eyes. This insures I am always parallel to my intended target, and am giving myself the best opportunity at hitting an accurate shot.
Give it a try!

Practice Your Putting To Avoid Misery
January 23, 2007
Golf putting practice…ugh! Man…it couldn’t get anymore boring! Putting is one of those parts of the game I prefer to ignore and not practice most of the time, and it shows on the course.
Developing a practice routine to improve your putts is critical to lower scores! They say putting equals half your score, so it is a very important component you should work on regularly to improve your score.
Nobody says you have to spend a ton of time on it, but if you are consistent with it, it will pay off huge! How about developing a 10 minute routine you can do 2-3 times a week? Something simple that will improve your ‘feel’, distance control and consistency.
Here’s a simple 8 minute practice routine for your putting.
- 2 minute - putt from one side of the green to the other to improve distance control. See how close you can get to the other edge without going off the green.
- 2 minutes - Set down distance markers and alternate putting to different distances. Set tees at 10-foot intervals, to 30 feet. Alternate hitting balls to the different distances.
- 2 minutes - Practice trying to make your putts, not missing them. Putt from six feet and 4 feet. The tour players only make about half their 6-footers. If you’re practicing 15-footers, you’re only hurting your confidence.
- Always finish your putting session by making short putts. And don’t leave on a missed put! Force yourselve to make five or six putts in a row to end the session - even if you have to putt from 6 inches to do it.
There you have it! A putting routine anyone can do in less than 10 minutes!
Personal Recommedation
If you’re looking for more guidance with your putting, I strong encourage you to take a look at the Pure Point Putting DVD. This dvd helped me shave 3 strokes off my score in less than a week!
Full Swing Golf Videos Will Improve Your Technique
January 22, 2007
There are many different forms of golf instruction videos, but if you are looking to improve your entire golf swing you’ll want to make sure to look at dvds (videos) that encompass the golf swing fundamentals, as well as take-away, downswing, impact and follow through.
But the key is simplicity!
I think we’ve all “rehashed” the golf swing enough in our brains, it’s time to simplify and succeed! The simpler we make our swings, the easier it will be to repeat, and get back on track when it goes a bit south on the course (which we know will happen).
There are basic fundamentals that are required to repeat a solid swing for 18 holes. A golf swing video should cover them thoroughly and easily.
Things like setup, grip, posture, ball position, and overall swing motion. These must be in place to improve your golf swing and ultimately lower your golf scores.
Whatever video you are considering, make sure it screams simple! I mean, no 8-10 or 16 step swing! No funky take-away or downswing move! Look for conventional, but that looks easy to follow and apply.
If you can remember this, you’ll no longer waste your money, nor your time on anymore videos. You will hopefully buy one more (maybe two or three if need be), that will get you on the right track, and swinging like a pro (almost)!
My Personal Recommendation
After having purchses several dozen golf videos from the biggest names in golf, I came across a set of golf swing videos that are the easiest to apply. They are for the average golfer looking to easily improve their golf swing.
Go take a look at the Pure Point Golf Swing Videos right now!
Golf Putting Instruction
January 20, 2007
Golf putting can frustrate the heck out of you, and that is why utilizing some instruction can make a world of difference! The majority of amateur golfers are below average in putting. That means they are leaving a ton of strokes on the course…that doesn’t have to be!
With a little guidance, information and simple tips, your putting WILL improve…and you’ll shave many strokes off your score! If you’re looking for an excellent golf putting dvd, I strongly recommend the Pure Point Putting DVD! Continue to come back here for more updated golf putting advice and tips.
Golf Swing Instruction
January 20, 2007
Working on your golf swing consistently with good instruction can literally transform your game! Golfers are making the golf swing way too complex. The best instructors are the ones that simplify the golf swing, not make it more complicated!
Instruction is everywhere! Magazines, videos, newspapers, television and even on the golf course when you’re trying to play a round of golf, and the guy you got paired with…and don’t even know is trying to give you lessons right on the course.
Simplify your golf swing…and your scores will plummet! If you’re looking for my opinion on a very good golf swing instruction dvd, I strongly recommend the Pure Point Golf DVD. Instruction can be the missing link if you have a good teaching pro.
Golf School Instruction
January 20, 2007
Have you ever experienced a golf school for instruction? They have become very popular the last few years, but there are so many now, it is hard to weed out the good from the bad. I am a firm believer in learning the golf swing and all the phases of better golf…including putting, chipping, wedge play, bunkers and full swing.
Most golf schoos cover all of these in detail, but the key is to get the “hands-on” you need to retain it and take it home with you. If you can get a decent student/teacher ratio, you’ll be well on your way to a better game.
In this section of the site, we’ll be researching and getting back to you on every facet of golf instruction schools to give you the knowledge to make a wise choice without feeling like you made a mistake.

If you do a little research, and continue to come back to this site, we’ll make it a lot easier for you to get the right video, that WILL improve your golf swing.Your main issue should be simplicity! Yes…a video that keeps the swing simple. Too many of these videos get you thinking of a dozen swing thougths before you even hit a ball!
We will be referring to several specific videos that you should take a very serious look at! Including the Pure Point Golf DVDs, which are excellent!
Golf Instruction Videos Are Rampant
January 18, 2007
How many golf instruction videos do you think are out there? How many have you purchased? If you are like the average golfer, you’ve bought at least a dozen in total. I can vouch for about 2 dozen…maybe more!
Golfers are information junkies! We can’t get enough can we? But has your game and swing gotten better with this approach? I’ll guess not, since you are most likely buying more videos as they come out. Am I right? Finally Get The Right Golf VideoWhat if I were to tell you…you only need to get one more golf instructional video to see real improvement in your swing quickly? Would you be willing to give it a go? Is your game worth a couple of more bucks?
If so…I strongly encourage you to take a look at the Pure Point Simple Golf Swing Instruction videos. There is one for the full swing, putting, short game, and driver. This approach is revolutionary in golf. It is SO simple, you’ll laugh once you realize how much money and time you’ve wasted on the “big name” guru’s products.
